JNTUH News Paper Article Regarding Zero Marks issue in recently declared B.Tech 2-2 Semester Results for exams held in August 2021

హైదరాబాద్‌, వెలుగు: జేఎన్టీయూహెచ్‌లో ఇటీవల విడుదలైన బీటెక్‌ సెకండియర్‌ రెండో సెమిస్టర్‌ ఫలితాల్లో గందరగోళం నెలకొన్నది. 5,000 మంది స్టూడెంట్లకు పలు సబ్జెక్టుల్లో జీరో మార్కులు వేయడంపై ఎస్‌ఎఫ్‌ఐ ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఆందోళనకు దిగారు. ఆగస్టులో 35 వేల మంది దాకా పరీక్షలు రాశారు. వీరిలో 5,000 మందికి చెందిన 16,956 ఆన్సర్‌ పెపర్లలో సున్నామార్ము లొచ్చాయి. బాగా రాసినోళ్లకు కూడా జీరోలు ఎలా వస్తాయంటూ ఎస్‌ఎఫ్‌ఐ రాష్ట్ర లీదర్లు తాటికొండ రవి, జావిద్‌ నేతృత్వంలో స్టూడెంట్లు జేఎన్టీ యూలో ఆందోళనకు దిగారు. ఇది అధికారుల నిర్లక్ష్యమేనని మండిపద్దారు. దీనిపై విచారణకు, బాధ్యులపై చర్యలకు డిమాండ్‌ చేశారు. వర్సిటీ వీసీ నర్చింహారెడ్డి, రిజిస్టర్‌ మంజూర్‌ హుస్సేన్‌, ఎగ్జామినేషన్‌ ఆదేశించి ఇన్‌చార్జి చంద్రమోహన్‌కు సమస్యను వివరించారు. జీరో మార్కులొచ్చిన వాళ్లందరికీ ఫ్రీగా రీవాల్యువేషన్‌ చేయించాలన్నా. లేదంటే ఆందోళన చేస్తామని హెచ్చరించారు. ఫ్రీ రీ వాల్యువేషన్‌కు ఆఫీసర్లు హామీ ఇచ్చారు.

JNTUH : The results of the recently released B.Tech 2-2 Semester at JNTUH are confusing. There was concern over the zero marks given to 5,000 students in various subjects. As many as 35,000 people wrote the exam in August 2021. Out of these, 16,956 answer papers belonging to 5,000 students were awarded zero marks. Even many students who had good performance in exams were awarded zero marks. SFI state leaders Thatikonda Ravi and Javid raised concerns at JNTU about how zeros can come even for well-written ones. It was alleged that the officers were negligent. They demanded an inquiry and action against those responsible. University Prof. Katta Narasimha Reddy, Registrar Manzoor Hussain, explained the problem to examination in-charge Chandra mohan. SFI demanded Free revaluation for all those with zero marks, if not they would protest. Officers guarantee free revaluation.
