is finally here. Exams are Mandatory. While the State orders of cancelling the examinations have been upheld, Supreme Court has announced that the degrees cannot be granted without the examinations. The states can, in turn approach UGC to extend the September 30 deadline. . it has also ruled in favour of UGC and said exams mandatory. If a state wants final exams to be postponed beyond UGC deadline of Sept 30, they have to consult UGC for fixing fresh date for final examination in that state.

In compliance with the directions of AICTE/TSCHE, all the students who are detained due to shortage of credits in the academic year 2019-20 or in the previous academic years are promoted to study next year of his/her course. The same information was already communicated to all the Principals (point 4 in ref. cited above).
Accordingly if any student, who was detained due to shortage of credits, approaches your college, such students may be given re-admission. You are also informed to identify all such students who were detained due to shortage of credits in any of the previous academic years and intimate about their promotion, so that such students will be benefitted.
Further the students who have not registered for the semester exams are also eligible for promotion.
It is proposed to conduct the IV semester MBA examinations along with 4-2 semester B.Tech. / B.Pharm. examinations from . The exam centers preferences given by the MBA students shall also be considered for the allotment of exam centers.
The service for the registration of semester exams (with applicable late fee) for final semester B.Tech / B.Phamrmacy / MBA University exams shall be made available from .

Commencement of 1st Semester Class Work From
UGC has issued revised guidelines on examination and academic calendar for all Universities, in view of the COVID-19 on 06.07.2020. All the ACITE approved institutions / universities are requested to follow UGC Revised Guidelines on Examination. Accordingly, AICTE issued Revised Academic Calendar for 2020-21 for Technical Institution (ref 2).
In view of the above, the classes commence from for the existing students (under JNTUH) of technical courses, both UG and PG. . The Academic Calendar 2020-21 for B.Tech / B.Pharm. II, III & IV Years -I & II Semesters for all Constituent & Affiliated Colleges of JNTUH is enclosed. Make recording of online presentations, regular attendance and day-wise schedule for submission to the University if required.
The Principals of all Constituent and Affiliate College are requested to take necessary action.

It is proposed to conduct the IV-II semester examinations of B.Tech. and B.Pharm. Courses from . The detailed exam time table will be communicated shortly. The Principals of non-autonomous colleges are informed to send the options of the students on or before (refer the ref.1 cited above). It is also requested to furnish number of students that your college can accommodate (following Covid-19 norms). For more details, please go through the previous letter from this office(ref.1 cited above).
Some of the autonomous colleges have requested the examination branch of JNTUH(EB-JNTUH) to extend its services to conduct IV-II semester examinations of students of their respective colleges who are residing in different districts. Accordingly, it is proposed to accommodate the the colleges request for the same. students of autonomous colleges, if In this regard, the procedure to be followed for conduct of exams at other host-centers is enclosed in Annexure-1.

All the Principals of colleges offering IV year B.Tech and B.Pharm courses are informed to note that of B.Tech/B.Pharm courses to the students at the centres which are near to their respective hometowns/ villages.
The Principals are requested to make arrangements to contact all final year students and take atmost three options (in the order of preference) from each student for writing their IV-II examinations. The places which the students are opting must have at least one JNTUH affiliated Engg. / Pharmacy college. The students who desire to write the exam at their parent college (where the student is studying), need not give their options. If any student does not submit his/her options, it shall be assumed that his/her parent college is his/her exam centre preference. Further if the seating capacity exceeds at all three preferences, Parent College shall be the exam centre for such students. The city/town of the parent college need not be included as a preference (by default his parent institute is his/her exam centre).
The entry of the student preferences have to be carried out by the college exam branch staff only. For the service to enter the student options, visit your college registration portal. Last date for uploading is (Tuesday).
