JNTU-Hyderabad (JNTUH)  After receiving permission from the state government for conducting semester exams, the semester examination dates will be announced. Simultaneously all registration will be made active for fresh registrations with applicable late fee. Hence if any student approaches the college for registration of the semester exams, the same may be intimated.

University Grants Commission PRESS RELEASE ​ Terminal Semester(s)/ Final Year Examinations for The Universities Examinations are an integral part of the education system and is a measure students’ learning, knowledge, skills and other competencies. The performance in examinations contributes to merit, lifelong credibility, wider global acceptability for admissions, scholarships, awards, placements, and better future prospects. A large number of best universities across the world including US, UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries, have conducted or are conducting examinations by giving various options such as Online/Offline/Blended or other alternative forms of examinations. In order to safeguard the larger interest of the students related to their academic and career progression globally, the UGC issued Guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calendar on 29th April,2020 mentioning that for the students of Terminal Semester(s)/ Final Year Examinations

UGC Revised Guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calendar for the Universities in view of COVID-19 Pandemic ​ Introduction The University Grants Commission (UGC) has issued Guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calendar for the Universities in View of COVID-19 Pandemic and Subsequent Lockdown on 29th April, 2020. In these Guidelines it was proposed to conduct the examinations in July 2020. The said Expert Committee was requested to revisit the Guidelines for Examinations and Academic Calendar as the number of COVID cases are still rising and likely to increase further. The Report of the Expert Committee was considered and approved by the Commission in its emergent meeting held on  6th July 2020 . Note : Terminal semester meaning :  The last/final semester of a course. Intermediate semester meaning :  The semester other than last/final semester or first semester.
